Kumon top thanks to Google

The huge number of page views for the 2 Kumon articles is due to Google. As soon as someone types the word “Kumon” into Google, then Google Suggest brings up “Kumon Reviews” and the 8 Things to Hate About Kumon article is one of the top results! There’s a clearly a demand for “insider” information about this popular after school program. I have more juicy Kumon information to share in the next few months!

Activities for preschoolers

As a mum of 2 preschoolers, I’ve spent many an evening searching for preschool reading activities, so can see why the 24 Short and Sweet Preschool Maths Activities is so popular. I think I’ll share some more activites like these in future articles.

Sharp mental maths skills

The popularity of the posts about finger counting, multiplication facts and lightening fast mental maths, show that this is the part of maths that many parents feel their children need support with. The 31 Days to Faster Times Tables product is designed to solve this issue, at least for the times tables. I’ll be sharing more times tables advice soon for those of you who really want to go DIY with this one.

Other popular articles

If you haven’t tried the free trial at Maths-Whizz Testers Needed then you must! Kids love it and you’ll get a real feel for how the program works.

I’m pleased to see my favourite post, 10 Seriously Cool Careers That Need Maths on the list, and if you liked that post, you’ll love the free 21 Seriously Cool Maths Careers ebook. (I’ve also posted that on the Times Educational Supplement Website and it’s getting downloaded by lots of teachers.)

Thanks!

Thanks to all of you who clicked a link and got a tip or a piece of advice that helped you support your child’s maths and a special thanks to those who took time to comment – it’s great to see so many of you sharing your thoughts here!
